Diamond House
holiday home is steeped in history with the majority dating back to
1681 when it was built as a school by John Sampson a local benefactor. The
school closed in 1969 after nearly 300 years to become a
private residence.
The building is full of character, the old school door retains pride of place
for access from the 'playground', and the outside toilets still exist though
no longer in use! The teachers cottage on the front retains character oak
beams and open fireplaces. The award winning decoration is unique
and shows the house to its maximum advantage - a truly remarkable
property. The large secluded grounds of just under an acre form an integral part of
the property and its appeal, ideal for children, adults and dogs!!
Diamond
House is a non-smoking holiday home.
