in 1681 by John Sampson, a local benefactor as a School and
School House, Diamond House large holiday home now forms a large Country House, available
for weekend or week long holidays for up to 18 guests in 7 bedrooms.
The
large School Hall in the holiday home provides a resplendent Dining Room
or Corporate Meeting Room with long table to seat all and an open fire. Additional accommodation
comprises two cosy
sitting rooms with space for the largest of groups, and an
impressive and well equipped kitchen for self-catering.
Original features are aplenty, with large rooms
reminiscent of a bygone age, beams and open fires, original
staircases, the old book cupboard and 105 coat pegs for the
school children.

The
large holiday home is located in the beautiful village of South
Leverton, (mentioned in the Doomsday Book) which offers an
excellent traditional pub, real ales & a food service,
church and a shop nearby.
Parties
can enjoy the acre of private, landscaped grounds at the large
holiday home with a
secluded South facing patio, barbecue, playhouse and
playfield. Our
large holiday home is an ideal location for a weekend away
with a group, or for a longer holiday to explore the
beautiful North Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire areas.

Robin Hood's Sherwood Forest is nearby as is Lincoln,
famous for its historic Cathedral, steep shopping streets and Christmas Market
also has a play barn, cinemas, theatres and football. Sundown
Adventureland is ideal for smaller children and is in the next village. Historic
Newark with it's ruined Castle and summer boat excursions, Southwell Cathedral, Laxton historic
village where time has stood still & Nottingham
